TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY
Summit Lighting offers the following Warranty on their High Power LED Lighting Products. Please read the following information carefully.
All Summit Lighting light fixtures are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials provided the products are installed by a qualified electrician, used within the defined operating parameters as detailed within the Installation Manual (in particular voltage supplies and operating temperatures are within the range the product is designed to operate) and have not been subject to misuse.
Within a 24 months period from the date of delivery Summit Lighting will repair or replace the faulty component part/s or the whole fixture as determined necessary by Summit Lighting without charge to the Purchaser, provided the Purchaser returns the product to Summit Lighting
Note – product faulty during transport damage must be reported within 14 days of delivery date.
Exclusions from warranty:
Summit Lighting will not be liable for charges incurred by the Purchaser for de-installation, delivery of the faulty product to Summit Lighting, rectification or re-installation works required.
Damage to light fixtures (s) caused by accident, misuse, fire, water damage or rust caused by humidity, abrasion, scratching or other physical damage.
Damage caused by vermin, insects or pets.
Failure to maintain the product as per the Installation Manual.
Damage caused by power outrages, electrical power surge or improper supply voltage such as via connection to Supply Authority mains or alternative supply systems.
Damage caused by foreign object impact e.g.: crane impact.
Damaged caused by unauthorised modifications made to light fixtures.
Problems caused by incorrect operating beyond or below recommended operating temperature.
Problems caused by operating in extreme environment such as vibration, humidity etc.
Any consequential loss due to light fixtures failure.
